Alto Ruan
This alto Ruan, or Zhong-ruan, is imported directly from China for Apollo's Axes. The Ruan is also known as the Moon Guitar. It is approximately 35" long, the body is 15 1/2" in diameter, and is 3 3/4" deep. This Ruan comes in a hard case.
This 4 string instrument dates back to the Qin dynasty at about 200 BC when it was called a Qin pipa. It is used in the modern Chinese orchestra, ensembles, and more recently as a solo instrument. READ MORE
