Bass Ruan
This bass Ruan, or Da-ruan, is imported directly from China for Apollo's Axes. The Ruan is also known as the Moon Guitar. It is approximately 43" long, the body is 20" in diameter, and is 4" deep. This Ruan comes in a hard case.
The Ruan is a 4 string instrument dating back to the Qin dynasty at about 200 BC when it was called a Qin pipa. The variations in size and tone such as the bass version are a more recent development.
