This Appalachian (also called Mountain or Lap Dulcimer) is US made by Folkcraft. It features solid wood construction, an easy-reach 27" fret scale with 18 frets including a 6 1/2, molded nuts and bridges for consistent action, and high quality solid metal geared tuning pegs. It has a two-piece book matched back with an inlay strip. You have a choice of either solid Cherry of Black Walnut.
