Chimes are tubular bells in the percussion family. Each individual bell of a set of chimes is tuned by altering its length. Chimes are a great addition to the percussion section of any musical ensemble.
The triangles is a bar of metal, usually steel in modern instruments, bent into a triangle shape. One of the angles of the triangle is left open, with the ends of the bar not quite touching. This causes the instrument to be of undefined pitch.
