The Hotteterre-tenor Recorder is based on the design of Jean Hotteterre (Paris, After 1640) and has a powerful and warm sound in all registers. The instrument is most suitable for solo playing and its extended range encompasses 2 1/2 octaves, which gives access to the baroque flute literature. Because of their considerable length the instruments have keys for the lower notes. This Tenor Recorder is made of Boxwood, has Baroque fingering, double holes for -D-/-D#- and double keys for -C-/-C#-. Pitch: A=415 Hz.
